Rendezvous Camps A & B
Rendezvous Camp is 0.4 miles up Calamity Cr from the main road by the Martin Cabin. This field can hold up to 100 campers and has two designated camp sites that share a common bear cable and sump. This camp has a large meadow with nice views of the ridges across McKay Cr and adjacent to Calamity Cr. It is a great location for large groups doing outdoor skills competitions and large group games such as “capture the flag”. Campers are expected to hike up to this camp. Leaders may drive a vehicle up to the entrance of the field (but not in the field) to load and unload heavy items. ALL VEHICLES MUST BE PARKED IN THE CORRAL PARKING AREA. Gas and/or propane stoves must be used in the cooking pit; charcoal cooking allowed IN THE COOKING RING if fire danger is low.
